Our Stories: PTSD

June 21 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm CDT
At the Veteran Spouse Network (VSN), we promote peer support. Often this means listening and learning from like-minded individuals that have been there too. In honor of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) awareness month, we welcome two long-time VSN volunteers, Debbie Wilson and Machelle Taylor, to share their stories from the veteran spouse perspective of living with, loving, and advocating for a veteran with PTSD. Maybe you are not sure where to turn? Maybe you are just starting this journey alongside your veteran? Maybe you have a story to share too, but aren’t ready and want to listen to others so to feel empowered in this community. Maybe you are from a VSO and would like to learn more about the role and impact spouses play on supporting a veteran with PTSD? Regardless, where you are at in this journey, we welcome you to this event and to the Veteran Spouse Network.
Note: To be eligible for this group you must be the spouse, committed partner, family member, divorced spouse, or caregiver of a post-service veteran or active duty service member.
Eligibility for our virtual events varies by session, so please check our Eventbrite page to see other social clubs that may interest you.
