Up & Out Seminar Series: Entrepreneurship

As we close on our financial series of Up & Out seminars, we feel it is important to acknowledge the role of entrepreneurship. Many service members upon getting out of the military choose entrepreneurship. Why? Freedom, Flexibility, Leadership (be your own boss), not having to start all over at the bottom again… Likewise, many military spouses who know what it's like to move frequently and also become business owners for many of the same reasons listed above. Military Spouse owned businesses become Veteran Spouse owned businesses. We see many couples go into business together too. Let's talk about it? What works? What are some challenges? We want to honor the creativity and ingenuity of our veteran spouse and family owned businesses. We are bringing in a panel of veteran spouse or veteran couple owned or formally owned businesses for this peer support discussion.
Transition can be a bumpy road, and we are here for you, offering an educational and holistic approach to military service transition to help make a smooth transition for the whole family. Our Up & Out Seminar Series will connect transitioning families with experts from across the country to provide needed information on a variety of transition topics, ranging from housing, finances, benefits, healthcare, relationships, and so much more!
