V-SRG 6-Week Mini-Series
March 30 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm CDT
Join our V-SRG peer leader Debbie for an opportunity to connect with fellow veteran spouses/partners and get a taste of our Veteran Spouse Resiliency Group (V-SRG) curriculum.
The group will meet for 6 weeks on Thursdays from 11:00am-1:00pm CT starting March 30th. This group is a closed group, meaning all participants are asked to commit to attending all 6 sessions (barring any unforeseen circumstances – we know that life happens).
Each week, the group will tackle a topic unique to the veteran spouse/partner experience (schedule below), sharing your experiences, support needs, and successful strategies related to that session's topic. Our V-SRG sessions bring together those who are living this life and can not only relate but listen and support without judgment. You are not alone in your experience, and we hope these groups help you feel just that!
March 30th – Sharing Our Stories
April 6th – Taking Care of Ourselves
(Skipping the week of April 12th)
April 20th – The Lingering Effects of Service
April 27th- Trauma & Compassion Fatigue
May 4th – Love & Relationships
May 11th – Moving Forward
Note: To be eligible for this group you must be the spouse or committed partner of a post-service veteran, or of an active duty service member who Is within 1 year of separating from the military. If you have been a past participant in the V-SRG program, you are still eligible to join any of these sessions.
