El Paso, TX – Dr. Gina Di Nola is a graduate of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Foundation Military Spouse Fellowship and the Military Spouse Leadership Development Program Fellowship. Other professional credentials include Licenses in Social Worker (LMSW) in three States and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
Dr. Di Nola is passionate about empowering Military Families with information and resources. During her dissertation research and ongoing civic commitments, Dr. Di Nola discovered that Military Spouses are often ill-informed about their entitlements or available resources. Community needs of Military or Veteran Families are often an afterthought. Employment of Military Spouses is one such example.
Dr. Di Nola currently serves on the Executive Board of the Fort Bliss Spouses Association and is an active member and advocate of: Military Spouse Advocacy Network (MSAN), Veteran Spouse Network (VSN), American Legion, Army Community Services (ACS), TX Military Veteran Peer Network (MVPN), Elizabeth Dole Foundation, National Military Spouse Network (NMSN), and many more.
Dr. Di Nola’s professional career includes Operations Officer of the Soldier Recovery Unit at Fort Drum, NY, in which she maintained a social work lens in aligning processes with policies and needs of Service Members and their Families. She has also served with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense. Her accolades include the Department of the Army Commander's Award for Civil Service, Commander's Award for Public Service, Civilian Service Achievement Medal, as well as Civilian Service Commendation Medal, to name a few. Dr. Di Nola is the Spouse of a Post-9/11 Army Veteran, the daughter of a WWII Army Veteran, and a Caregiver to both. Originally from Canal Zone, Panama, Dr. Di Nola received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California and Doctor of Management and Master of Computer Science degrees from Colorado Technical University.
Dr. Di Nola is open to opportunities to enlighten profit and non-profit organizations of the needs of the Veterans (young and old), their Caregivers, and Military Spouses and to provide value-driven benefits by including them in local and national outreach efforts.
