With over 30 years of experience in the finance industry, Cheryl built my career helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership goals through mortgage lending. While her professional background has shaped my skills and knowledge, the most meaningful parts of her life come from my lived experiences within the military community.
Cheryl is the daughter, spouse, and mother of retired military veterans, which has given her a deep, personal understanding of the unique journey military and veteran families experience. As a Peer Leader with the Veteran Spouse Network (VSN), she draws on that lived experience to connect with others in an authentic and supportive way. Cheryl strives to offer empathy, encouragement, and a steady presence for those who may need someone who truly understands.
Her passion for VSN comes from a simple belief—no one in our community should ever feel alone. She is committed to creating a safe, welcoming space where people feel heard, valued, and supported through shared experience and real connection. She believes healing and strength often begin with conversation and knowing someone is truly listening.
Outside of VSN and her professional work, Cheryl enjoys expressing her creativity through art and crafts, as well as staying active on the tennis court and playing pickleball. She’s also a proud mom of two and grandmother of four, and her family continues to be her greatest joy and motivation in everything she does.
