Haltom City, TX – Alise met her husband through mutual friends in 2013. After four years of dating, they tied the knot in 2017. He is an Army veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and is a proud member of the CVMA motorcycle group. She was wanting to connect with other military spouses for support, specifically other civilians who married into the veteran world. She finds the VSN groups are helpful to better understand her husband and wants others to have the resources that she found helpful during her journey. For fun, they attend concerts, sporting events, and are avid road trippers. She stays busy with reading, cooking, telling anyone who will listen about her custom spice mixes, and adding to her collection of funky earrings. She’s lovingly adopted his cat, Cap’n Kitty.
