Atlanta, GA –
Hello! I’m Alunya Clark, a resilient and compassionate individual whose life journey has been shaped by her unique experiences as a military brat and prior Army spouse. I currently work as a Transition Specialist with Hire Heroes USA, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering military members and veterans in their transition to civilian careers. In this role, she leverages her diverse expertise to support those who have served their country, helping them find fulfilling and meaningful employment opportunities. My connection to the military started at a young age, growing up in a dynamic and ever-changing environment as my father served in the Air Force. This upbringing instilled in me a deep sense of adaptability, resilience, and a strong understanding of the challenges faced by military families. I married a service member and embarked on a journey as an Army spouse. For over two decades, I embraced the
role with unwavering support, enduring multiple deployments, relocations, and the unique struggles that come with military life. I participated in the VSRG support group which provided me with an opportunity to find support as I was dealing with the struggles of military life experience with other spouses. As I look back on my journey, I find fulfillment in the prospect of sharing my story and knowledge with others, aiming to inspire and guide them through their own challenges.
