El Paso, TX – So, I met my husband in a bar. Our time of 22 years is important to us. His 100% disability from the Army makes minutes with him worth more than there are stars in the universe. Even though I have many hats to wear, all the titles in the land will never measure up to the wife of the best husband in the world. When I read this line out loud to my husband, I got a chocolate kiss for it. Our family is small but growing and realizing how important family is, especially military families, having that connection makes being a resilience leader rewarding. Even with the challenges we all face, knowing that our military is stronger with this common bond, brings its own rewards too. Volunteering comes easy because of the great spouses I meet. I enjoy holding classes in many modalities and spending time with my growing family.
