Holiday Traditions: Military and Veteran Families
December 18 @ 11:30 am – 12:30 pm CST
The military is a melting pot of cultures and is filled with exciting adventures and travel. Maybe your family was stationed in Hawaii and you started the tradition of decorating a palm tree each year. Maybe you have tips about the best holiday markets in Europe. Or maybe your family settled somewhere new after service and started new traditions.
We invite you to join us to socialize and share your holiday traditions as we all get into the holiday spirit. Sharing your favorite holiday recipe with the group is also highly encouraged (but not required)! This event is an opportunity to share your holiday traditions and what you experienced as a military or veteran family and will be led by VSN staff.
To be eligible for this group you must be the spouse or partner of an active duty service member or post-service veteran, a caregiver or divorced spouse, or widowed from a veteran or active duty service member, or an active duty service member or veteran.
Eligibility varies by session, so please check our Eventbrite page to see other social clubs that may interest you.
