Let’s Talk About It: Moral Injury & Recovery

March 12 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm CDT
Let’s Talk About It: Moral Injury & Recovery | Education & Peer Support
Our Let’s Talk About It events serve as the peer support complement to each month’s educational EmpowerEd seminar. This month, VSN Peer Leader, Cassandra Salas, will provide participants with a space to process what they learned in the EmpowerED session and discuss how moral injury shows up in their families. Participants are encouraged to attend the EmpowerED and peer support events, but it is not required.
What to Expect:
- Review Definitions: What is a Moral Injury?
- Review Signs & Symptoms: Learn how to recognize a Moral Injury.
- Discussion & Strategies: You will have the opportunity to share how moral injury is showing up in your own lives and families, and how to implement some of what you learned.
About the EmpowerEd:
Learn more and register for this month’s EmpowerEd on Moral Injury & Recovery: What can we do? with Dr. Rita Nakashima Brock HERE. She will help us better understand moral injury, what’s being done to treat it, and what we can do to support a loved one.

This event is open to anyone connected to the larger military and veteran-connected community.
Joining the Event:
