Divorced Military/Veteran Spouses-Peer Support
February 6 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm CST
Separation and divorce are one of life’s most stressful events. In the military and veteran culture, a divorced spouse may find his/herself separated from the community they have grown to not only love but rely on, leading to isolation. It may be that the experiences in the military and the lingering effects of service are what caused the strains in the relationship to begin with, and you may feel like those outside of this community can't relate. Not to mention that there may be kids in the picture who are very much still tied to the community and the other parent.
Navigating this type of separation is unique, complex, and emotional, so join peer leader Heike Vargas for support from other separated and divorced spouses (or those considering making a separation) in this community. You are not alone.
Schedule:
This is a closed group meeting weekly for three weeks. Note: Each group will be a closed group, meaning we are asking that you try to commit to all three meetings within the series. If you like the group, feel free to sign up for the next series too! Once you register for the start date of your choice, you will be registered for all 3 sessions w/in that group offering.
