Need a space to decompress, refocus, and reconnect with yourself? Write as Rain is a supportive weekly journaling session led by VSN Peer Leaders, Cassandra Salas and Becca Hobby. Journaling is a powerful mindfulness practice shown to alleviate stress, sharpen focus, and support emotional and spiritual well-being.
Whether you’re brand new to journaling or already filling notebooks, each session offers a welcoming space to explore simple techniques, reflect, and reset. Attendees will learn various journaling techniques designed to help clear your mind, manage stress, and tap into your inner voice. All writing levels are welcome, and what’s shared in the group stays in the group.

Eligibility
This event is open to:
- Spouse/partner of active duty service member/post-service veteran
- Divorcee or widow/widower of active duty service member/post-service veteran
- Caregiver of active duty service member/post-service veteran
