Jenny Phillips has been married for over 15 years to a retired disabled combat veteran who served in the Navy for 24 years. Together with their three kids, they have lived on both coasts, survived deployments, and now face the challenges of transitioning into civilian life. She is a football team mom, Jeep off-roader, and training to get back on the rugby pitch. Jenny is truly passionate about the power of community – and in strengthening bonds post-service with veterans and their families, particularly online and in the Comal County surrounding area.
A proud Texas A&M graduate and self-proclaimed data nerd, Jenny holds a Master’s in Epidemiology & Biostatistics and a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Science. Her extensive career as a Project Manager and Senior Research Scientist includes roles at the Army Directorate for Prevention, Readiness, & Resilience, Defense Health Agency, Naval COSC, and Seattle Children’s Research Institute. She has partnered and worked for all service branches to positively impact mental and physical health. Jenny excels in customer-focused, data-driven solutions, continuous improvement, and mentorship, with studies focusing in mental health, unit readiness, traumatic brain injury, and resilience.
