Stephanie Smart is a proud Air Force Active-Duty Spouse and passionate about mental health and helping other Active-Duty Military and Veteran spouses maneuver the highs and lows of military life. She has been married to her spouse for 15 years, together for 20 years. They have spent the last 14 ½ years of her spouses’ military career overseas, living in Germany, Japan, and England where she developed a love for traveling and trying new adventures. Stephanie is also a boy momma and is enjoying the journey of raising two boys. Stephanie currently resides near the Dallas Texas area, but originally from Florida. Stephanie has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and a master’s in human relations. Stephanie has a broad range of professional expertise and experience, as most military spouses do. She has previously worked in the DODEA school systems, on an embedded holistic team within the Air Force Special Operations community with KBR Wylie, and currently works with the Steven A Cohen Clinic at Metrocare as a case manager. Stephanie found the Veteran Spouse network to help find community while not being connected to a military base. It has been refreshing to connect with others who understand military life and have support on this journey.
