We are proud to announce that the 2026 Military & Veteran Spouse Wellness Survey (MVSWS) is now open. This national research initiative, led by the University of Texas at Austin’s Institute for Military & Veteran Family Wellness (IMVFW) in partnership with InDependent, continues our work exploring wellness for military and veteran spouses and partners.
The 2024 survey was the first of its kind, revealing critical gaps in emotional and physical wellness and moderate loneliness among military and veteran spouses and partners. This year’s survey builds on that foundation, and your voice helps shape the research.
Your experience matters, and we want to hear from you. The survey is open to anyone 18 or older who is a current or former spouse or committed partner of a U.S. service member or veteran. It’s anonymous, conducted online, and designed to assess well-being across all 8 dimensions of wellness using a mix of validated research tools and questions developed specifically for this community. Whether you’re thriving, struggling, or somewhere in between, your experience belongs in this research.
Take the survey today, and consider sharing it with other military and veteran spouses and partners in your network.
